We had maybe a week of heavy snow that brought everything to a standstill, then melted so fast that the ground my chickens live on had several inches of standing water despite being on the side of a hill. Most of the winter has just been wet and windy and grey, but apparently I take a lot of photos when we do get snow because it rarely happens. This would be a more accurate representation of winter here but it doesn't make for a great entry

I don't have many more good chicken snow photos though, so might as well call that my entry 3![]()
Not an entry:
Maritime climate - always wet and grey.
My gang don’t mind soft rain but heavy stuff they run back inside.
The silkies will stay out on it also, I have to drag their soggy butts in and dry them off. Brats!
