Entry #1: my coop this morning
It was a rare day when my chickens didn’t set foot outside at all, even though their run is protected and didn’t have snow in it. Everything was encrusted in snow (it was 2 feet deep in some places) and so dark in there that maybe they thought it was still nighttime

It really is! I love the snow- but living on Long Island I often have to bite my tongue because my fellow Islanders do not share in the love lol
