Investigating Alert confusion

This isn't too important, but I was just wondering if anyone knew why this happened? At around 3:11 cst time, I got an alert saying that @DuckLady started a thead called "2018 BYC Calendar Pre-Orders", but yet on the thread, it says it was posted at 7:19 last night??????

I'm getting weird "Alert" responses as well...rather no responses...

I see posts have come onto watched threads, but no alert.

I then see posts on the alert list that didn't show up in my little Alert number box, but yet are in the list....so I don't know I've gotten a new post as there was no actual alert.

Something is definitely funking in the alert system.

This started yesterday for me....both on phone and on desk top.

Phone is LgV2 with latest Android. Desktop is running Widows 10, latest version, in Google chrome, latest version.

This is probably because the thread was started in a private section and then moved later to the public section.

I see posts have come onto watched threads, but no alert.

This seems to be unrelated to the first post. I'd suggest logging out, clearing your cache, and logging back in and seeing if that helps.
