Alert Link Broken

Overall, I like the site upgrade, but I've had the following happen. I recorded it to report it here.

I received an alert, to wit:

muddy75 reviewed the article The perch experiment.
Saturday at 4:48 PM Mark unread

The link under "The perch experiment" was
https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/the-perch-experiment.74272/review/28375/
When clicked on, I get the message,

Oops! We ran into some problems.
You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.

I cannot actually find a review by muddy75 on that article. If the author deleted the review, then perhaps the message should be different--maybe, "We could not find this item. It may have have deleted." If it is actually there but I don't have permission to see it, then I shouldn't be getting a notice to read it. If it was made anonymously, then perhaps the link shouldn't say the author's name, but I should still see a link to the anonymous review.

Using the current version of Chrome on Windows.

To clarify, this is the link in your alert:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/the-perch-experiment.74272/review/28375/
and this is the link you were expecting:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/the-perch-experiment.74272/reviews
If you go into the alert, and right click, copy click URL, and paste the click-url here. I want to see if it look like the first URL one or something else? (hopefully that makes sense)

I want to see if there is a code or redirect problem going on.

Thanks for responding, and I see you're the owner! I love BYC, btw. Fantastic site.

You read it correctly. The link text was simply "The perch experiment", but the link url was https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/the-perch-experiment.74272/review/28375/

That still gives me the no permissions error I posted. What do you get when you look? Do you see a review, or do you get an error?

Your second link just takes me to the reviews for that article, which I could also get to by going directly to the article. What I was hoping to see was the review that resulted in the alert. My review is the most recent on that article, so it may be that muddy75 deleted the review after posting it, or something else happened. Maybe muddy75 deleted their account.

I'm not upset about it, just curious. I've been a full-time web programmer for 21 years. And I love this site. Great job!

While on the subject, I read a lot of articles, and usually read all the reviews and comments. One thing that would be very nice is if the "next page" dynamics for comments or reviews reloaded just the new comments/reviews and skipped to the beginning of the comment/review text, rather than make the users scroll down through the entire article each time they advance a page. Even collapsing the article div would take that away. (Sorry about adding a second issue.)

Thanks again for providing a real service.
