My husband is raising chickens that are just about 3 weeks old. How early can the be put into the coup. They seem really antsy to get out of the area they are living in now.

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join us here! It all really depends upon your set up. For example I put a few days old chicks out in the brooding shed but they do have a heat source. They are usually weaned off heat by at least 6 weeks often sooner if the weather is good. Are your chicks still requiring heat? Are they fully feathered?
Hope this helps ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...first-60-days-of-raising-baby-chickens.47691/

Yes, they are in a container with a red heat lamp. Probably about three more weeks we plan to give them heat. The heat lamp can go with them out to the coop We have a few more things to prepare the coop for them but you think its probably OK to move them when the coup is ready?
