Alfalfa hay ?

Hi my girl ducks have got dark green spots on bill i read that it could be some sort of deficiency caused by laying and the alfalfa hay will help is it worth getting some or is it something not to worry about thank you x

I think it is normal on Pekins to get spots on their bills. I don't think your ducks would eat the hay they would probably like it to lay on though.

What do you feed your ducks? do you offer oyster shell on the side for extra calcium?

I have never heard that before..What do you mean by green spots on the Bill?..Can you post a picture?

Hi yes they have mixed grit with oyster shell. Aw thank you for advice i will just leave it then if its normal like you say they would probably not eat it anyway and they have lots of straw to lay on ha Thank you x
