alge?

how do you keep Alge out of your water?
i change it daily, but high humidity and weather is a constant growth...

I havent tried it but have heard a teaspoon of mothers vinegar keeps it down. Copper as well but i dont know anything about that. mothers vinegar is good for them. wonder if you could use an umbrella over it ?
