That bird has a pretty long tail, silkie and cochin cross "should" tend to have short-ish tails(maybe your silkie looking pullet is this cross?).. I would guess d'uccle based on that.


Good point! I had never thought about that. He does have a d'uccle tail. So that means my white show girl really carries blue. I was never sure because all my frizzle cochins are blue/black and barred.

I'm guessing the silkie looking pullet is from my blue silkies crossed with the white showgirl.

I absolutely LOVE my white showgirl roo but will probably trade him out next spring if I want to get some consistancy in the color of my "sizzles" He has a wonderful personality so it is hard to give him up.

Yeah, i have one that looks like him, but she has black earlobes, but she has the same eyes and poof thing on her head lol
