No oyster shells provided, and the chicken scratch is a mix made up by the feed store, let's see, it has crushed corn, millet seeds, wheat seeds, sunflower seed's, pellet's with a light touch of molasses applied, been feeding them the same scratch for about 3 years, oh, recently a coon reached in a cage and ate all the chicks in it, so I mixed the rest maybe 20# of chick starter in with the scratch.....ps. the racoon went to racoon heaven since the ordeal. Ms. still allows us to have shotgunz.

You only feed scratch and not a complete feed?

Hmmmm, there's mucho calcium in the green's they eat daily I thought, it's one of the first area's they run to when left out of the coop, pick'n @ the grassy green stuff, plus the buggy stuff I throw to them from the garden, mator's, cukes, they do not eat green peppers or okra tho, butternut squash, eggplant, yeah, how does a purple plant get the eggo prefix, soooooooooooooooo, I suspect I'll crack a few open and see whatz inside later on, got to get for now, TY for the thoughts....
