Alienation of one chick from the others.

One of our chickens is being shunned by the others. Idon't know what happened but Rosemary is was a leader and is now nervous and alienated. Any insight on this?

Once a dominant bird has lost their place in the pecking order, it becomes very difficult for them to regain position. All of the birds they dominated are now delivering 'payback'.

You may want to check and treat for external and internal parasites as they can leave a chicken too weak to behave normally.

Does she make clucking sounds? She might be getting broody.

It's really hard to speculate without knowing more.
Flock numbers, ages, genders?
Housing details, size in feet by feet and pics?
