Didn't realize the addition was that long ago. and they still want to?...We added the 3 BLR Wyandottes 7 months ago when they were old enough to go outside. I always change the bedding and never had this problem before. They actually love when I change the bedding because one will jump in there and arrange it how she wants it.

That's cool the bedding change doesn't bother them, mine don't care for it.
Tho the nest bedding is less of an issue than the floor bedding,
that really freaks them out but I only do it twice a year.
How big is this coop, in feet by feet?6 birds live in the same big coop.
Did the 3 hens stop laying when the BLRW started laying maybe?
I'm assuming they are old enough to lay, that can shake things up.
