I just met someone in Vacaville to get pullets & eggs she picked up in Oregon for me. I'm sorry I didn't think to ask here about others who need eggs moved along her route. She's going home this Friday. Of course it's volunteering someone else's time. But... if you know of eggs needing a ride back up (from Santa Rosa to Corvallis area via Hwy 5), let me know & I'll put in a plea. I still don't know if she's a BYC'er.

I don't have any to send out yet, BUT I got a little flock of Bev Davis BCMs last week.

Bought from a BYCer who warned me that they were older and weren't laying consistantly. No problem. I'm going to be incubating everything I can to build a younger flock for myself. I got 8 hens and 2 roo. The younger one he said is 4-5 months old. He's a sweetheart. Between whatever I get from these and my 2 month olds from different lines, I should have some good eggs to trade pretty soon. Come on birdies lay!!!!

I'd certainly be willing to help with this, I can cover most of south east Michigan and occasionally from here to grand rapids. I also have friends in the Newaygo area that I can pick up from or bring to for pick up if anything needs to go that way.

But he is in Eugene Oregon, and I am in San Diego...

SOOOO!!! OMGosh!!! I found him a ride!!! THE INFAMOUS TRAVELING CHICKEN!!!

He is going from Eugene Oregon to Santa Rosa on Friday the 25th... we now need a ride for late Saturday or Sunday from Santa Rosa to LA/ San Diego area... If anyone is heading this way can you please please please give the little guy a ride?!??!

My laptop has almost 0 memory and I guess I can't add any

Froze up after I posted last night and I literally just got back on after sitting at my desk trying to get back on. I even slept at my desk in a chair. I was hoping someone would help keep it going, but wasn't anyones responsiblity but mine. There my be a place on facebook for what some of the members were setting up for this. I can't go into facebook without having major issues with my machine. Matter of fact it was acting up and when I went it to sign up for our Egg Train page it crashed and hasn't been the same since I got it back up.

I'm going to try to get a hold of all the coordinators as soon as I can and see if they are still able to work with my. I has suggested using pms to arrange any transportation since it would keep the threads down to a minimum and also for safety issues.


That being said................I can meet someone in Stockton or Manteca and can get him to ...mmmmmmmmm Fresno maybe????
