All about Amberlinks!

Missy - how are your Chickens? Mine are doing good. Went thru a spurt with Scooby Roo where he was a bit testy, kept biting. He saw my husbands foot and one upside down conversation with him and now he keeps his distance.

Gumbo (So named because he was so rough mating his girls he was going to be some yummy gumbo if he didn't shape up!) And he has gotten SO much better!

Ha... I stole it from a friend cause he always names his roos food names so he says he can remember to not get attached and that will be their purpose cause he can't keep them in the city!!

Hi there Missy!!! I got and egg!!! You would have thought I'd struck gold! I was in the coop yelling about the egg, my three year old went running for the camera, my husband came running in the coop to see! We are so Chicken whipped, lol! (the girls are 18 week old now!).

So I wiped it off with a paper towel and put it in the fridge, i shall cook it in the morning! :)

Mine are fine! I got 23 eggs yesterday. But I best start getting more since I should have 44 that are laying or about too!! But my Amberlinks, Golden Comets & RIR's were the first to lay! Still waiting on my Buff Orphington, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Black Sex Links, & Black Australorps to lay! Not saying that their not but I haven't seen them in the nests yet!! All the others I have!
