If advertising on BYC, they have to be in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum somewhere. Advertising in a state thread is not permitted I recently found out. I had suggested to someone having trouble getting rid of their roos to post them in their state thread which I linked for them and Ducklady removed my post and said that's not allowed. :(

I suppose they don't want the members who are chit-chatting in those groups to have to deal with people constantly posting their chickens for sale or for free. Makes sense.

I have pretty good luck in the poultry groups for my state/area on Facebook. You post a picture, then say something like, "Needs a new ZIP code, message for more info." Can't say prices so gotta be cute about it.
Or you can build another coop, that's what I did. The bachelor's coop is doing well & they're all sweethearts, I hug them alot. Once I raise chicks I just can't part with them.

I wish I could find that know-it-all who knows nothing on Facebook, like most of them, that told a person who asked how to make a bachelor pad that she's raised chickens for 60 years and it can't be done. I had to bite my tongue as I know so many that do it. I leave FB alone unless I'm selling chicks, as BYC is where all the compassionate, caring, and intelligent people are. :highfive:
