All Chicks Present and Accounted For!

Our order from Ideal arrived this morning. All 68 chicks are lively and healthy looking. They are eating, drinking and pooping, that's for sure!

Last year we picked up chicks at our local feed store that were from Privett, and they looked nothing like these.

I am really impressed with the quality of these little babies.

These are our EE'er chicks and the broilers (I have warned the kids not to fall in love with these big yellow peepers....think it'll work?)

These are Black Australorps and Rhode Island Reds.

I absolutely love baby chicks!

did you get pullets or straight run I orderd pullets from ideal but got st.run,now i have too many roosters,actually I had too many roosters before getting these chicks

Skeeter-We ordered 12 EE pullets, 12 BA pullets and 14 RIR pullets.

We also ordered 6 roo's of each type because we wanted to pick the best and sell the rest to our local Chinese restaurant who buys them from us.

We ordered a couple of weeks ago, don't know if that made any difference. Why did they send you straight run if you wanted pullets? There mistake?
