all eggs in one box

I have 4 hens two BO's born in march and two blk. aus's born in June. I have a box for each. every day when I go to collect eggs, I find all them in the same box. They move from box to box. but almost always I find all the eggs in the same box. is this unusual.

Nope not weird at all, they like to lay where they think it is safe, so if one egg is "safe" in a nest box they all think it is a safe place to lay.

Sometimes I find up to four girls on the same nest at once. I've chalked it up to, "You're in here, so I need to be too!"

Mine do the same. They'll wait outside the box until it's open. Only if they can't wait, they'll go in another box. But they get their favorites.
