They'll be 25 weeks this Wednesday. Rex is finally just beginning to fill out a bit and grow into that lanky frame of his. No eggs from the BR pullets yet, but Wynette is very close, I think. He had just jumped up on the ramp so his wing was dropped, but I couldn't resist his pose. And I love the expression in his eyes. No sign of aggression at all from this one, which is very satisfying for me. I love Rex.

Me, too! I can say that since I had nothing to do with breeding them, just the hatching and raising of them. Here are a couple of pics from today. They'll be 26 weeks on Wed.

Ida, on the other hand, won't get her big mug away from my camera to get a good body shot of her. Actually, in the butt shot, I think the tush on the right belongs to Wynette, LOL.



Thank you, Wendy. I do think Rex is quite the stud-muffin. What is as important to me as looks is his calm temperament. So far, he isn't a biter or a flogger. I test him daily, too, by reaching out to rub his chest and he always lets me. Hope he stays that way.
