All I Can See Is A Rooster I Want To Kill!

Time for the General to executed for peace time crimes! I have one that is walking a fine line...he chases my daughter but bothers no one else....the other day he ran out from under a bush an flogged my feet and I punted him across the front yard and he decided not to try again...so we shall see. One more time and it is off with his gorgeous head!

If a rooster cannot learn about respect through simple persuasion , then a rooster can certainly learn about soup though immersion.

Mine went after me for the first time ever just yesterday. I've kind of been waiting on him to get brave on me. He saw the bottom side of my boot 6 times in a row before he decided he had enough, then I chased him around for another five minutes with him squawking his fool head off the whole time. The next time I was out there and made a step in his direction he bolted! Not sure that he is cured but if not then he can be "cured" if ya know what I mean?

Tell that to all the roosters I've had that were super aggressive before I worked with them.

Seriously, any rooster has the potential to be aggressive - some breeds have more of a tendency, but I've worked with a LOT of roosters over the years, and haven't found ONE that couldn't be 'fixed'.

Uhg, I think I'd better leave this thread though......all the talk about cutting off heads and making soup is making me sick....Seriously, people on this forum seem to think killing is the solution to everything (not that I haven't seen roosters killed and eaten, but just saying 'kill him' right away seems like giving up to me)......
