    Do you know anything about them? Age? Where they came from?

    Most people will probably guess that they are mixes. Maybe some variety of game mix from the leg color?

    just that someone give them to us and there about 4-5 month old

    They look like mixes to me. I don't know exactly what they are mixed with, though.

    Mixes are fine - they will still lay eggs.

    But I don't think the one in the picture on the right will. Am I mistaken, or is that a roo?

    Yes, those look like mixes. And yes, mixes are perfectly fine. Mixed breed chickens act just like purebred chickens, and they still lay eggs.

    The bird on the left is a hen, but the bird on the right is a rooster.
