I would really like to find a couple EE hens for my son for Christmas. He has a rooster and wants "girlfriends" for him. I was told by family that chickens are Easter presents not Christmas.

I think some of my hens are broody but they are very stupid, yes thats what i said, they will sit on the eggs and then about after three hours get off and not come back

oh well we have chicks already (incubator hatched) and my dad says, 'NO MORE CHICKS!!!' but secretly I really want them to hatch a clutch
