This morning, one hes refused to leave the coop. When she did, she made a beeline for the entry of the yard, I let them free range all day, the rooster chased her, when he caught her he jumped her, got off, strutted around her, pecked at her, then mounted her again.

If you're set on keeping him, you need to get him so more girls. That's a lot of attention for so few hens.

I got 4 young chicks,I've had them about 5 weeks, Im not sure about their sex yet.
I have them isolated now, away from the coop, and will be moving them to an isolated part of the coop, with separate roost, nesting box, yard and separate entry, in a week or two. I figured that would give them time to grow and slowly integrate them to the flock. If one is a rooster, I will send him to MMA school, so he can stand a chance

In case you are wondering why her back is bare when the contact point would be the cloaca situated underneath the tail:

The male steps on the back of the hen to get her down into submissive position.
Then he grabs onto her wings to get hold and equilibrium, wiggles some to make her move the tail out of the way, and then lowers his rear end to meet with the hens cloaca while holding on to her neck with his beak and her upper wings with his claws.

When the contact was successful he will loosen his grip on the hens neck, and he will again tread on her back to push himself off of her.

Well mannered males will dance before (asking permission) and after (thank you Ma'm) mating.

This happens many many times a day and with only four hens, of course their plumage will be wornout or they will get bare-backed in no time.
