Last weekend we decided to reaarange who was where...moved the three mallards to the pen I hate the most. Swapped the Silkies out from that pen to where the ducks were and moved the Brown Leghorn & two Anconas to one half of the new coop we just built. Lo and behold two days after doing this, one of the Silkie girls started laying...or maybe both, haven't quite figured that out yet. I was just so excited they finally starting laying. I think the three vulture pullets we had them with scared them. Now that they're stress-free, someone (or both) is laying! Woo!

Looked in yesterday & there are three eggs in there...but neither girl seems to be interested in sitting on them

Maybe soon, but for now I'm just happy to get some eggs!

I've got 29 eggs in the incubator, so not really. It will just be fun to let them hatch their own at some point...though I should probably be careful what I wish for
