All my chickens stopped laying.....why?

I had 4 egg-laying hens, got around 3 eggs/day...then a friend's dog killed 2 of them. The 2 remaining kept laying. Then the friend replaced the 2 dead chickens with 2 game hens and a bantam rooster. The game hens are of laying age, and my other 2 used to be productive. But no eggs have been laid since the new hens were introduced. Any ideas? There is plenty of room for the 6 chickens....close to 150 sq ft with 2 coops.

I'd say they are stressed due to the changes. They are having to re-establish the pecking order. I added some laying hens to my coop this summer and everyone dropped in production. Took a good two weeks for it to be normal again.

Oh, almost forgot there is a forum that BYC has on their main page about assisting in increasing the egg production.
