ALL my geese are sick and 4 died so far :(

Regular worms won't cause something like that, and usually you don't suddenly see symptoms then have everyone dying off.

Have you looked for any hemlock? Someone I know started having his birds dropping off and discovered they were chewing on hemlock that was growing wild on his property.

If you can pen them up then do so. They need to be confined so you can check things like their stools and know exactly what they are and are not eating.

Thanks!

Don't know if the owner is going to be buying new RV's this year or not, but in the past he has allowed people to meet him at the Winnebago factory and they drive RVs up at a reduced cost. They get a tour of the factory, RV training and a great vacation. That way you would get to see Canada as well as whateverk you wanted to see here.

I would be looking for something food based that is causing the problem. Check you feed bags for mold or bad smell, geese and ducks consume way more feed per lb of animal then chickens and will show the effects of bad food, or poisening of some type then your chickens will.

I'm thinking moldy food.

You can't always see if their feed is moldy, but they are very sensitive to it. It could have been stored wrong where you bought it.

Other possibilities are something dead and rotting in the pond or some kind of poisonous plant.

I don't know if I would try to worm your geese with them already being ill and weak. It soulds a lot like Botulism. Usually with Botulism they can die within 3-6 days after drinking stagnet water or bad food. Mold will also do it. Are they where they can be drinking from a stagnet puddle or get to weeds that are bad?

I don't know anything about chickens but have went thru same thing you are last year just about this time of the year with Sebastopol Geese. I called the state vet and he said it was Botulism.
He said it had been a hot dry summer and in the public parks waterfowl was dieing by the hundreds.
At that time I had a flock of about 200 Sebastopol Geese. We stopped it before it went thru all of our geese but did lose two. By the time we figured out what was wrong they were too weak to save.

See if you can look Botulism on the net.

Make sure they have fresh water. You know how messy they can be. They need clean water, especially when ill so change as often as you can.

Buy new food. Change everything you can that they are intaking. Fresh greens in their diet will help as well.
