all my geese have angel wing! what do i feed them then?

all my two month old touloose geese have angel wing now. i fed them chick starter in the brooder and now that i have them in the pen with the ducks they are eating a 15% protein pellet mix. what should i give them then? i don't have fresh greens to give them.

Just turn them out on the grass when you can watch them, they'll get all the greens they need.

You may want to look at your local grocery stores. They will frequently give all their old produce away if you make arrangements with them. Generally you have to sign a waiver stating you will not be reselling the old foods they give you, and they may have a waiting list, but it is a cheap way to get the greens your babies may be missing.

My ducks love frozen peas and green beans. I just rinse them with water and they thaw out by the time I get them outside.

Thats a bummer!

You cannot reserve Angel Wing after the bones harden.
The wings can be taped when it first strikes.
Exercise and greens of any kind helps to prevent AW.
