Crowing
Hi everyone! I have 40 chicks that will be 5 and 6 weeks old this week. They are getting so big! We moved them all outside last week and they love it! The standard chicks are in their coop, and the bantams are in a temporary chicken tractor while we finish some things on their coop. We have 4 roosters in our standard flock (with 28-30 hens, is this ok?) and I’m guessing 2-3 bantam roosters with 10-12 hens. We got all new breeds this year, so I’m excited to see how they turn out.
Here’s some updated pictures of some of my chicks
Cricket (welsummer pullet)
Donald with the bantams (tufted Roman Goose)
Popcorn (Partridge silkie-thinking cockerel)
Bluebell (Blue Cochin bantam-thinking cockerel)
Splash silkie-needs name
Dr. Pecker (EE)
Millie fleur d’ Uccle
Golden neck d’ Uccle
Japanese bantam-needs name
