Woo hoo! One of my best friends and I went out a few towns over to pick up some semi-local quail eggs:celebrate. @black_cat, @AngelaY, @MGG, @dbtcowgirl, and @Coops Dad you guys should know what I’m talking about.

So the couple that gave us the eggs gave us (what we thought was just a few) extra to go along with the two dozen that we bought, and once I got home I sprayed them with just some warm water to let them sit out for a few hours, and obviously I counted them.

Well apparently they gave us a whopping 99 quail eggs.
So I only have space for about 64 (with my new incubator and old one. Also about the incubator, I was just about to order the NR360 when someone gave me their brand new yescom because I had told them about it. Anyway hopefully when I do the ducks, I’ll be able to order that one as well). And long story short my friend and I are splitting the eggs. We’re each doing around half!

Why did you spray warm water on them?
Well the people who gave us the eggs suggested spraying them with 3% food grade peroxide and 97% water and leave them to sit for a few hours to disinfect them but we looked everywhere and couldn’t find the peroxide so we decided to just go with some warm water
