Just north of Amarillo, TX (Texas Panhandle) I have a few hens I want to sell because I have to many of both breeds. All hens will turn one year old in February so they are still in the prime of their laying years. Five are Buff Orpingtons and four are Naked Necks. The NN girls are buffs and blacks with bowties. All are laying well, Orpingtons will go broody but can be broken without much effort unless you leave eggs around for them to sit on.

I also have a 5 week old BO chick (gender unknown yet but I think it's going to be a hen), and two BR/BO chicks the same age (gender unknown). Chicks can be held until they are fully feathered out and ready to live outdoors. They were hatched by a BO hen and are being raised by her in the spare bedroom.

Flock is healthy, friendly, immunized, on layer crumbles w/ BOSS as treats to scratch daily. Have only had two outside roos added to flock since they were all hatched & I know the owner of that flock keeps healthy livestock.

I'm asking $12.00 per hen and $2.00 per chick. Will consider trades for livestock feeds or goods, but no other animals (we have LOTS of those already)! LOL!
