Hi guys, I hatched some eggs under my Orpington who refused to break broody and they are now four weeks old. The first pic are of my black copper marans chicks. The second pic is an easter egger dark/grey and light chick is also an easter egger. The final pic is just all of them together. With their current names. Monday thru Friday as they each appeared from under the hen one a day for that week! I am hoping Wednesday ( my darker egger ) is a girl? I think Friday is ( light egger)
As for the marans. Thursday has barely any feathers and they’re sort of a butt so I’m confident he’s a he. Maybe the other two are ladies?

I know it’s still pretty early but figured this would be fun as these are our first ever chicks!

Th has the biggest comb, so guessing that one will be a boy. The others are looking like pullets so far.
Yeah he’s in the middle on the first pic. He’s very cockerel acting, plus the immensely slow to feather I am 100% confident he is boy. Fingers crossed the others can stay female leaning!
