I posted a couple weeks ago…I’m back with my 4 week old chicks and I think I hatched 4 cockerels and 1 pullet
1. 4 week old Easter egger x Orpington. I’m feeling pretty confident she’s a pullet.
2. 4 week old Easter egger x Orpington. I was so confident she was a pullet but within the last 2 days that comb has gotten more red.
3. 4 week old Easter egger x Orpington. I’ve had rooster vibes since hatch day when he came out of the egg differently than all the others
but the comb has become more red in the past few days.
4. 4 week old Easter egger x Orpington. He’s had a large comb and short tail feathers from the 1st week so I’ve been pretty confident in saying he’s a cockerel.
5. (The chick in the front of the picture)
4 week old golden cuckoo marans x Orpington. Large comb and short tail also from the first week - another one I’m confident about being a cockerel.
Agree or disagree with any of them?
I really wanted # 2 and # 3 to be hens.
