So, I am making this list of all the chicken breeds and I thought making a thread on BYC would be fitting. If you know a breed, please post them, pictures, whatever. I'll start with a couple I know already.

Golden Comets
RIR
EE
Ameraucanas (did i spell that right?)
Brahmas
Orpingtons
Faverolles
ISA browns (is it ISA?)
and now I'm drawing a blank..... :hmm
PLEASE! Pictures welcome!!

I love my Sulmtaler chickens! Their looks, color and temperament is just really lovely. They are quiet and gentle. The rooster can get up to 4kg so they are rather large.

We've had some great hens over the past years. The best layers for our "Backyard Hens" have been Barred Rocks and RIR's. They've been good pets too. Our tamest hens have been the Buff Orpingtons. Most entertaining is the Favorelle, Dark Brahma and Delaware. I had problems with temperament of the two Wyandottes I had. The Golden Wyandotte was so mean I had to re-home her. That may have just been her personality as I've heard Wyandotte's can be quite nice for a backyard flock and are strikingly beautiful.
Have fun doing your research and I wish you luck with your new endeavor!:fl

Here are the comical ones....Brahma, Favorelle, and in the back Delaware.

I have to say, that faverolle there does look more peach in color than my girls. Mine have darker streaks in their feathers

Also, the second pic of the chicks looks like his/her foot is twisted weirdly.....
