I have recently lost a rooster to a predator and now his girls seem to be confused. I have 4 out of 6 hens that just stay in the nest boxes all day long now.Of course they would all be in the same box if the 4th could squeeze in. Why is this? Will getting them a new man help?They are still laying ,just never come out unless I throw them out. I even have to go back in a night and put them on the roost.
