Hey good morning. I noticed the other day that my roosters comb was discolored a bit (especially when compared to the hens). I also noticed he has been staying up in the roost a little longer than usual. He will com down with ease when i go in the coop to clean. But typically when I go out there in the morning he is down crowing. Last night when i went to close them in and again this morning when i went to clean and let them out I notice his poop was all white (not mostly brown with a little white like normal). He does still seem active for the most part , though I haven't heard him crow yet today , but he was crowing as usual yesterday. .. any Ideas... we did have ha chick get put down about a month ago with possible Mereks. But the tests came back inconclusive and was not confirmed. I did treat the whole flock 10 days ago with Valzeban for worms.

One of my hens got a bluish purple comb(not sure about the poop) and was getting lethargic, but before I found out what was going on i found her dead in the coop one day. I don't know if what happened to my chicken is what your rooster has but watch him closely and do a little bit of looking around to find out what is wrong before it's too late.

You're right. Something is definitely off. Is he "hunchy" like he's in pain? How is his appetite?
How are his reflexes - walking normal, balance normal?

Is it possible to give him some vitamins (a fast acting one like nutridrench)? That's usually my "go to" if I'm trying to diagnose something, but can't figure it out yet.

I've not had experience with frostbite, so I can't tell you if that's what his comb is experiencing, but it also looks like his wattles are slightly discolored as well.

so it hasnt been below 40 degrees in a while so frost bite id say is a no... I noticed his tail is droopy today and he keeps opening his mouth... almost like he is trying to crow but nothing is coming out
