I decided to do this thread to see all that are hatching quail on here at the moment I've got 6 bobwhite and 72 coturnix
What do you have?

I have 30 coturnix in one incubator and will have 50 more going into my second incubator this weekend. I am currently setting 40-55 eggs every 10 days.

I just had 24 coturnix hatch last night and this morning. set 24 and had 24 hatch 100% hatch rate never had that happen with any eggs ever. The eggs were laid here at my house from chicks I hatched back in Dec.

Good Luck everyone! Oh wait my Aunt told me it's bad luck to say good luck when hatching eggs. So hope your hatches go well?!!

I have my 4th batch of buttons in, silkie and polish eggs due today. Then I should be receiving today or tomorrow a dozen coturnix eggs in the mail. Ugh! I need another bator, need more room! Lol

18 Texas A&M's in the incubator. Day number 8. My first ever hatch, so I I'm holding my breath.

I'm using a Farm Innovators 4200 with circulating fan and automatic egg turner with quail rails. I'll be candling next thursday just before lockdown, so I'll report back then.
