Awesome job! I just locked down my James Marie eggs. I was s'posed to wait till tonight but when turning I put my ear to a few and the chiseling had begun! So I had to step up my schedule a bit. I ordered 180 and have just over 100 that I think are viable. Long trip to Alaska.

I plan on weighing the chicks weekly. Will be interesting to see their rate of growth . I picked up 28 A&M 5 week old birds from James Marie Friday. I weighed them and the average was 230 grams - that's a little over 8 ounces at 35 days. He has some amazingly large birds. I've read some comments on his egg prices. Probably a third of the cost is his packing, it's extremely effective. As a bonus you get years of very successful selective breeding for size. In my opinion it's the best deal on eggs.

I candled my gamble eggs none were fertile.

I set 36 bobwhite yesterday. This is my first time so I hope it goes well.
