all who are hatching quail

WOW $25 each thats crazy! I usually sell my adults for $6 each. But since you live on an island and shipping is uncommon, I guess that makes sense. I would try talking the price down and if the vendor doesn't Change look somewhere else close by for a lower price. Oh and for the eggs I've seen them go anywhere from .50 cents too $3 each. I hope you find the right price! Good luck :)

best of luck with the hatch. don't let those Pheasants eat up your Valley Quail!

Where'd you get the Valley eggs from?

Our quails arrived today! 4 hens and 2 males. 3 eggs this late evening and that surprised us. We bought them and the seller throwed in 15 quail eggs and then we have 3 laid tonight. Im rinsing out our old 44 egg incubator and testing it tomorrow. We should have over 25 eggs to set in 3 or 4 more days. If we have 50 percent hatch or survival rate and they can lay in 7 or 8 weeks.... we should be rich in less than one yr!!!! LOL Just kidding. Looking forward to eating fresh meat when I harvest the roosters. Wonder how the ratio of hatching at 50 and 50 percent female would grow to how many birds or eggs in one year??
Any one have the excel charts on this?
