A lady at work is wanting some chickens, so, I stepped up and volunteered to hatch her some. I set 9 barnyard mix in my new homemade incubator.

I really like your bator. I like the way that you put the top & the side windows. What is that plastic thing that you have the eggs in? Some type of bowl? I like how it has the egg shapes to help keep the eggs from rolling aroud.

I know that you have a while before you hatch time, but good luck.

Looks like a deviled egg tray. Can buy them in the kitchen section of walmart or anywhere.

Correct, it is a deviled egg tray. I drilled some holes in each egg section to allow air circulation.

People on BYC has good imaginations. I have been thinking about building a bator, but I don't know where to start or what all supplies I need. I am gathering more information every day, so maybe here soon, I will have to build one...lol
