Allow Chickens in Blaine MN

I've just started on my quest to petition the city for Chickens. I understand the city council "discussed" the matter about a year ago but dismissed it after one meeting. I'm looking for other Blaine residents who would be interested in helping me. Also, anyone of you who have gone through the process, please advise. Thanks!

Hope you figure this out! We are looking at potentially moving to Blaine, but not being able to have chickens is deterring us.

Did you get chickens? I am also interested in raising a few chickens for meat.
