Almond & yellow questions

Ive been reading up on colors and Im a bit confused about a few things.
I have an almond thats listed as sex-linked (whiteish with a few dark flecks) Is it male or female?
Also is yellow and recessive yellow the same?

Almonds can be both male and female, so there's really no telling. Different colors and genes will give almond varying looks.
And yes, yellow is usually referring to recessive yellow...unless they say yellow check or yellow bar, in which they mean ash-yellow - the dilute of ash-red.
