Almost 11mo girls & 1 just started laying?!

I have a mixed-flock of 10, 2 of which are EEs. I thought they were all laying, since this summer I received 10 eggs a day quite often. I thought the whole time both of my EEs laid a pinkish-brownish egg. Today, I go to visit them after work and I find a pullet-sized, aqua egg! It was in the run instead of the coop/nest box

So, did she just start laying or did her eggs change suddenly?

Either way, I'm super-excited to have aqua eggs!

She just started laying. Congrats! A chicken will only lay one color egg, though the tint may be a little darker or lighter occasionally. Don't you just love that pretty color!
