almost 22 weeks old...not all of them laying...normal?

Hi!

We have 24 girls that are 22 weeks old this coming Sunday...we've been getting eggs since 18 weeks old...I haven't yet been able to find out for sure which ones are laying and who isn't..but I am wondering if its normal that the most eggs we have seen in a day is 7 eggs....and that was about a week ago and now we've been seeing between 4 to 6 eggs a day...

Is that normal? Is there something wrong that they aren't all laying yet??? They are buff orps....

Completely normal. Not everyone lays right on time, that's just an average. There's been some members who didn't get eggs until 36+ weeks.

Yep it's normal. I have one that started laying at 19wks and three others that are 20-21wks and aren't laying.
