Almost 3 week old chicks. What are they?

only one of your birds is the guaranteed production and I agree that's your BR.

I disagree, because the Production Pack bird is supposed to be female, and the Barred Rock is male. So the production one must be one of the others--I'm thinking the white or the single-combed black.

Ooh...good call. Unless the BR turns out to be a pullet. But the white does seem pretty cockerelish.

Okay, it's one week later and the chicks are 4 weeks and 2 weeks respectively. @NatJ @renk777 I'm pretty amazed by some of the changes they have undergone. Also, excuse some of their positioning, I bribed them with mealworms.

First up, the Barred Rock who we may have decided to name Einstein because he's definitely brilliant. Strutting his rooster stuff.

Next we have Luna aka Looney Luna. 😉 Her last photo is blurred because Luna.🙄

Next is my second suspected cockerel, but those feathers are no longer only buff-ish white, but are also red. S/he also still needs a name.
20200622_193944.jpg 20200622_194015.jpg

Next is the one we have decided is Bellatrix (Lestrange from HP) because she nips harder than the rest and is just so rude. But maybe she's a he for that matter.🤷‍♀️

Then there's the lovely Queenie. She's my hangout chick. She'll just settle down wherever, exhibited by picture 4. Except for these pictures so my husband held her for the headshot.

And of course, last of the 4 weekers, we have Ruby/Red as the feathers have gotten dark and plentiful. Not very multicolored anymore. This one also has the longest tail and is slightly bigger, but not by much at all. Also, gender uncertain.

And here are the lovely two week old pullets. Blackberry the Partridge Cochin:

Lucy and Ethel the White Crested Black Polish (two pictures each):

And last, but not least, sweet Daisy the "guess this yellow born getting reddish feathers chick's breed." Lol.

Regarding the 4 week chicks, I agree with your hunches so far. Based on tails and feathering, Bellatrix & Ruby both look like girls... As for the Cochin, can you get a shot with the tail? From what I can see in these 2 pics, I'm thinking pullet. I have no experience with polish so can't weigh in there. Daisy has me on the fence. Leaning towards cockerel but comb doesn't exactly scream cockerel. S/he's sort of in the middle of what I'd expect of both genders with feathering. Guess you'll have to keep updating! 😁

The Cochin, Polish and Daisy are all pullets. They were all ordered as females from the Hatchery. 😁

I'm a little late on the picture update so they'll be 6 weeks on Tuesday and the Polish gals, Cochin and Daisy mystery chick breed will be 4 weeks on Monday, but here are some from their time outside today. (Hubby took the pictures.) Also, someone (suspecting Bellatrix) is pecking at our Polish girls' heads so they sadly have some baldness where they should have beautiful Crest feathers. No-peck stuff will be picked up from TSC in the morning. @NatJ @renk777

Here's our BR, still thinking roo:

Here's Bellatrix, the who knows what breed with the worst personality:

Here's still has no name and other suspected rooster who I'm leaning towards Golden Buff for breed-wise with his coloring. But let me know if you have other guesses. He's with Daisy here.

Ruby the super sweet who I'm now thinking might actually be a RIR or NHR. See her tail in the above picture behind the boy and she's also in Bellatrix's photo above.

Luna is still Looney...

And Queenie loves it outside so being held resulted in this lovely photo.

And some group photos that are a bit blurry in some bits.

Golden Buff pullet, maybe.
Cockerel of some other breed, maybe.
But not Golden Buff Cockerel.

Look at the photos: Golden Buffs are Sexlinks, where the males and females are colored quite differently from each other.

Is "he" about the same size as the others? Or noticeably large or smaller?

In this photo, I'm looking at the comb colors. The barred bird and the black one next to him might both be cockerels, given how alike the colors on their combs look. I'm not sure about the one in front--comb is somewhat large, but looks more pale than the others.

Given that several of your chicks were straight run, you might end up with multiple males, although of course you might not.

No new thoughts on the others, but enjoying the regular updates!

To be honest, I'm not suspicious of Luna being a cockerel but I'll keep an eye on her too. Their combs might be redder in the picture than they truly are because of the lighting and it was in the 90's yesterday so possible flushing?

As far as the rooster suspect, his overall behavior and how he stands is similar to the BR but he's also more watchful outside than the BR. Also, he and the BR had later tail feather growth than the rest of them and I know that can be somewhat accurate. Size-wise, he's about the same size as the BR. His comb is the second largest of the single-combed chicks as well. Although, if he is a she we won't be disappointed by that either. Here's a few indoor pictures of him from today.
