Almost 4 week old Barred Rock and Welsummer...

And here we are at 5 weeks with the barred rock. (Didn't bother taking pictures of the Welsummer again...with a chest full of black/brown feathers now, I have no doubts that "she" is a he! Still holding out hope for the barred rock, though. It's comb is still pink, but hasn't grown much.

Your barred Rock is a cockerel. The white bands are too thick and the black bands are too narrow for it to be a pullet.
