Hatchery chicks, slow to grow and feather out.
I also got 3 EE's at the same time, all 6 birds are pullets.. EE's are fully feathered and bigger. They are healthy, eating, playing and growing. Just slow. I have one that we call Pixie that is the runt, her wings are short, her feathers stick out.. And compared to her "sisters" shes bald. but like I said.. eating, drinking, pooing, playing, all ok..
Normal??
thanks..

You will need to give more info to get a legitimate answer.......How old are the chickens?, being the main question...Brahmas do feather slower than most breeds though.....Everything is probably ok......Good luck....

How old they are is in the title, :). Almost 5 weeks. Thanks..

Perfectly normal for a brahma cockerel. Generally, the pullets feather out much quicker than the cockerels. Most of my brahma cockerels have that "I'm almost naked" look until 10-12 weeks. I would say that you don't have anything to worry about, except maybe that you got a cockerel out of the bin if you didn't want one.

And, Brahmas grow pretty slowly.
