Hello!

So I've thought about keeping chickens for some time and last month I was surprised with five dozen eggs! A makeshift incubator was devised out of an cooler and now 15 days later we have 56 eggs with moving embryos and a couple of questionable ones.

The breed(s) is unknown. The shells are a range of browns and some cream colored ones. These eggs were surplus from a farm that supplies a hatchery and were passed through several hands before I received them.

Hatching day(s) is steadily approaching. It's very exciting and worrisome at the same time! There's so many articles about the things that can go wrong before hatching...

Try to focus on what is going right sounds like most are doing well despite passing through so many hands. Sending you good hatching vibes
