Hi! We are in the process of building our coop now, and are expecting our pullets next week. It will be my first time raising chickens! We are very excited to get our babies, and will be keeping them for eggs and as pets. I choose Barred Rocks. I think they are gorgeous birds, and read a lot of great reviews about the breed. I've been reading and studying for months, we planned our coop well, and I'm very happy to be part of a forum full of knowledge!
