Aloha, my name is Kris, I live in Haleiwa Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. I have 8 chickens, 3 Rode island Red, 1 Americanus, and 4 baby leg horns. Mahalo of letting me joing the group. I look forward to sharing experiences about out chickens!.

When I was in Haleiwa about 4 years ago I remember watching chickens hanging out near a restaurant there. They were having a grand old time scratching in the shade. Haleiwa seems to be very "chicken friendly".
 
Aloha. I've driven to Haleiwa many times and enjoyed Matsumoto's shaved ice. When the lines were too long there, I got it at Aoki's (although they've been closed lately, hopefully will reopen soon). My keiki always enjoyed swimming and snorkling at Alii Beach Park. You will find lots of useful information on this site. Good luck with your flock.
