Aloha from Hawaii

I live in Honolulu (in town) and have 2 pet hens...one black silkie (Patty) and one Japanese/silkie mix (Poppy). Poppy I've had for 2 yrs and Patty for about 6 months. They get to be outside year round in Hawaii's beautiful weather. They roost inside a bougainvillea bush! Am looking forward to being a part of BYC's community.

. They probably are not going to much for the snow this winter either!

My daughter graduated from Hawai'i Pacific University in 2008 giving me the opportunity to visit your beautiful islands several times. She lived in both Kaneohe, and Waikiki. I am looking forward to returning again!
