Aloha Everyone! I'm new to raising chickens. I just recently got two buff orpington chicks which are now about 4 weeks old and I also have 3 RIR and 3EE which are one week old! All of which are my first chickens ever! Can't wait to be picking up fresh eggs!

I forgot to ask what Island are you on. I grew up on an Island, the weather just wasn't as nice as it is in the Hawaiian Islands.

@ justbugged: I'm from kauai! Our weather on this island is usually nice all the time, although we just had a bit of flash flooding. But that's usually our spring weather! Lots of rain! And to everyone : thank you for all the warm welcomes!

It would sure beat Ohio's lousy weather.
