New member here. I live on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. My husband and I are ready to jump into the world backyard chickening. I have a coop/run, but I don't have any chickens yet. Unfortunately, due to my HOA, I cannot have any roosters. Just here to gather support and information, Mahalo!

Welcome. Perhaps you should rescue hens so that you know you will not have to rehome a rooster - which is not easy to do.
